We were approached by the Johnson City sesquicentennial committee to develop an urban park concept for the upcoming 150th anniversary of Johnson City. The request by the committee came about as there is a need for an urban park located close to downtown Johnson City. The concept was a park for children that had natural elements like logs and boulders along with created elements like the play houses. Much of the play area sat inside a bicycle pump track designed for kids so they would have a safe place to ride. A nature ramp takes you from the front of the park around to the back, making the park accessible for everyone.
